Quality Doulton Drinking Water Filters for City Use

The HCP200 is two in-line pressure filter housings moulded from Acetal and Polyester materials. The housings are fitted into a free standing base for counter top use. The unit is readily attached to an existing cold water faucet via a DV3003 diverter valve and a length of flexible tubing (supplied). This unit requires no permanent modifications to be attached to a kitchen or bathroom faucet. The diverter valve allows filtered or unfiltered water to be drawn from the existing faucet at the press of a button.

This system includes: a cleanable Doulton Ceramic Drinking Water Filter cartridge: CU1200 UltraCarb Doulton Ceramic Candle for the first housing and a disposable CR2500 VOC/Heavy Metal cartridge for the second housing (see performance chart below).

To clean, service or replace either the CU1200 ceramic or CR2500 disposable cartridge, the "sump" (white section) is simply unscrewed. The picture on the right shows an older model with the sumps removed. The sump is pressure sealed with an "O" ring, therefore no tools are required to loosen or tighten the sump into place. Bacteria	P	General Description - Application: This system is designed as the quality standard for homes fed by well, surface or Chlorinated Municipal water and constructed with soldered copper plumbing, PVC, galvanized or black iron plumbing supply. This system is highly effective for homes which are fed by lead lined or asbestos reinforced water supply mains in their city. This cartridge combination provides: 100% rejection of Bacteria and Cysts; Depth filtration of particulate >.2 micron (dirt, asbestos, iron etc); Outstanding improvement in Taste and Odor, plus the added bonus of increased Chemical, Lead and Heavy Metal Rejection. The 600 gallon (720 G/US) rating is to ensure that the internal extruded carbon core and Zeolite ion reduction medium remains effective under the worst possible contaminant conditions. *Strengths:* Though not reaching purification standards for all contaminants, this system produces outstanding rejection of VOC's with the added bonus of increasing the Lead removal efficiency(>99%) at its rated life of 600 gallons. Both of these statistics *exceed the NSF certification requirements under NSF International Standard 53. The system is easily cleaned and requires no tools to service.*
